Gros Islet Street Party

Gros Islet is a small fishing village that comes alive every Friday night for a memorable night of lots of music, fun and dancing! There will be stalls selling BBQ fish and chicken with sides as well as a variety of liquor and beers chilled in coolers. You won’t miss the street party as there will be a DJ and loudspeakers blaring out hit after hit in different genres!

Village Fish Fry

There are a few villages in Saint Lucia that host a fish fry where locals and visitors come together in the streets for some local delicacy and to wash it down with some local rum, beers or juice! The villages are:

Gros Islet – 1 September (and every Friday)

Anse La Raye – 1 September (and every Friday)

Dennery – 2 September (and every Saturday)

Marigot – 6 September (and every Wednesday)

S.L.A.P.S Quiz Night 

5 September

(And on the first Tuesday of every month)

Come along at 7pm and have some fun while raising money for a worthy cause: the Saint Lucia Animal Protection Society.

All monies raised will help to feed and provide medical care for homeless dogs and cats. SLAPS relies entirely on donations and receives no government assistance.

Admission EC$20 per person.

Snacks included.

Drinks specials.

Maximum 6 per team.

SOLEIL Summer Festival – Country + Blues

27-30 September

Country and Blues festival is done in Saint Lucian style. The genre of music goes way back to the roots of folk traditions, regional and local. The musicians are storytellers expressing the struggles, emotions, and hopes of the people. The Country and Blues festival reflects the richness, diversity and modernity of these musical styles.
