In August Carnival Sailing brought to Saint Lucia an outstanding addition to its fleet – a catamaran that is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. A warm welcome to Carnival Luxury, a state-of-the-art catamaran that is available for private charter and shared charters.
Carnival Luxury is all about effortless elegance and style. She is here to cater for discerning clients who seek exclusive, premium service. The design of the catamaran is focused on outdoor relaxation and entertainment, complemented by a spacious, chic interior and deck.
It gets better. Guests are provided with a chef on board when chartering the upscale catamaran for a half-day, whole-day or sunset cruise, or even overnight and for weekends away. So don’t forget your passport as you could easily sail away and visit other Caribbean islands.
“We’re able to provide an ultra luxury service for our clients with food and drinks packages to choose from,” said General Manager of Carnival Sailing Limited, Peter Byrne. “If they wish to charter the boat for a few days and travel to other islands but provision and cook on the boat themselves, they can do this as well.”
Carnival Luxury is for people who enjoy being pampered. “The guests usually request to stay on the water and have their chef cook a lunch or dinner to the standards of the best restaurants on-island; their drinks chilled and poured to perfection,” revealed Byrne.
Carnival Luxury is decked with a 70ft. mast with large sails and there are two inboard Yamaha engines. The vessel is fully air-conditioned with four guest cabins (fully en suite). The 50-foot Lagoon catamaran has trampolines out-deck, and beanbags for added comfort. Other amenities include a spacious open-air cockpit, a comfortable dining area, snorkel equipment, stand-up paddle-board, kayaks, dinghy tender, fishing gear and WiFi. Guests also receive complimentary underwater photos.
The boat can hold up to 18 guests on a dinner cruise, which includes chefs preparing plated meals on board, and 30 guests on a cocktail cruise that comes complete with finger foods. When overnighting, a maximum of six guests can occupy the bedrooms.
The idea of bringing a luxurious catamaran to Saint Lucia came to GM Peter Byrne when he travelled to other islands and saw that this kind of service was successful. “Saint Lucia has been honeymoon destination of the year for many years and has many top quality hotels with clientele and celebrities crying out for this service,” he explained.
Carnival Sailing is the first and only company to provide this kind of luxurious charter service in Saint Lucia. Try it – you deserve it!
