Saint Lucians and visitors eagerly anticipate the annual December concert presented by the Rotary Calabashers. This year it is Motown-themed and not to be missed!

Date, Time & Location: Saturday 8th December, 8pm National Cultural Centre, Castries

The Rotary Calabashers is a project of the Rotary Club of Saint Lucia. It was set up in 2004 when Past President Malcolm Charles penned a song to celebrate the upcoming centenary of Rotary International. His novel submission to the organisation resulted in the Calabashers, under the musical directorship of Barbara Cadet, performing at the Rotary International Convention in Chicago, Illinois in 2005 and impressing hundreds!

Over the years the Calabashers have garnered a reputation for presenting a fun evening of song that will delight the family and lift everybody’s spirits. This year’s show, with longtime musical director Gregory Piper, is guaranteed to have audience members dancing in their seats and the aisles as they enjoy that Motown magic. Another reason to feel good is that the concert raises funds to assist the club in its services to the community.
